Long gone but here again!

Hey guys,
I guess there is no way I can find any excuse for coming to my blog once in two months ..So I shall get on with this post, yes, finally after much procrastination I am here with one! I am sure this is not an excuse for not blogging but I have been travelling the whole of this month..ok..ok..I have become a reluctant blogger but it wasn't this way when I started off almost three years back..It's not easy to work full time and do justice to the high pressure world of fashion blogging, I say!

Back in town..

Hello guys,
I know I have been in hiding the past two months-- no excuses for not updating the blog-- due to my travels and some personal work..But now I am back and hopefully I will become more regular with my posts, yes I know I have neglected my blog for way too long. however with a full time job- it takes a lot of determination to keep this going..

Anyway let me not  rant on and on, I am sure all of have our own issues to deal with, but instead share some pictures while I was travelling. This is the first part, in a few days I shall update with a few more outfit pictures....

Btw I am also putting some of my precious stuff-- shoes, bags and clothes up for sale at the facebook page, do check it out for some great bargains.

My Summer Essentials

Hey guys,
How's the weekend coming along? For me it's been one hectic week which just flew by and now things to keep me busy at home even over the weekend. plus there was the big, big game last night ( read Champions League final between Bayern Munich and Chelsea) and my team lost.nevermind that.

Today I thought of doing a post on something I hardly talk about..my hair and bath essentials..considering its summer time I reckon it is the best time to put this post out..

Ok, so I am a self-confessed hoarder of showers gels, body scrubs anything that I can stock up in my bathroom. You won't believe it I bought 12, yes 12 shower gels from Victoria's Secret at one go when I was in New York last summer. you can't blame me the sales were on.

Polka dots, pastels and a Sunday afternoon

Hiya Guys, Yes, am back. That seems to have been my opening line for the last one year everytime I surface after a months or two. Not good I know but I have just not been able to give this blog my time:( Anyway, I thought it had been way too long since I did an outfit post so here it is all you lovelies. I have a lot of new stuff in my wardrobe including this light pink jeggings and my lovely polka dot top which I have been wearing like every second day. will hopefully do more posts with all my new possessions soon..Wish me luck guys. The other day I wore these polka dots on an asymmetrical black skirt -- what do you think of that? So how are you all gearing up for the summer heat? I am thinking lot of florals, pastels, whites.. Latin American inspiration..

Hey guys, How was your weekend? I was super sick the last weekend and some part of this week, too, but a lot better now. For a change, I thought I will introduce you guys to some interesting people and therefore this post of mine profiles this upcoming Argentinian model who happens to be a friend's girlfriend..I have always been struck by these Latin American beauties and Andrea is gorgeous. Here is a short interaction we had about stuff, hope you all will enjoy the read..
1. Tell us a bit about yourself and how you became a model? I’m from Misiones, a northern province of Argentina where there are the Iguazú waterfalls. I think I’m very lucky since I travelled around the world working and getting to know very interesting people. I have a son who makes me smile every day and I’m about to get married. I became a model when a person found me in my hometown, Eldorado.
2. What have been your big international modelling assigmnment? I remember two moments that marked my professional career. Working with Azzedine Alaïa, one of the most prestigious designers of the world, from whom I learned a lot and have done Vogue Japan with Ellen von Unwerth.

3. How difficult is it to be a successful model in Latin America considering there are so many young girls who want to join this profession? The Latin American market changes constantly. That’s the biggest difficulty but you make a difference when you are professional. Being responsible, punctual and working with energy and proactivity are the keys for success. Behind each production -photographic, for a TV commercial or for the cinema- there are many people working. Being professional is really important for the team.
4. Tell us about the style trends you are following and whether you follow street style blogs? I’m fascinated by author designs. I’m not a fan of productions in large scale since we all seem to be uniformed on the streets. I like to live fashion more than reading about it. I follow blogs like Scott Schuman’s “The Sartorist”, “Face Hunter” and “Ale Garcia 360”. This is an Argentine fashion producer that I strongly recommend to follow.

5. What according to you is fashion and how do you define your personal style? Fashion is the way people express themselves. It can be personal or not, but it is a reflection of what we feel when we dress up every day. I have an elegant transgressive style. I love shopping vintage clothes and redesign them. And I lose my mind for shoes and purses.
6. Do you follow Indian fashion, movies? What do you like about eastern style? I’ve seen Indian movies but mostly they are the ones that transcend your borders. I think Indian fashion is super interesting. I don’t lose a chance to buy something from your culture when I can use it with western clothes. They are very stylish and feel very comfortable.

My winter wardrobe in Bombay!!

Guys, how is the new year coming along? I have to tell you that I am on course to revamp my blog, it is taking longer than I had expected but I'm on the job. For now, I had to show you guys what I got this sale season- an awesome pair of tan boots from Promod, it was a steal cos it was on a 60 per cent discount. What all did you guys buy over the last few weeks? Any great bargains, do share with all of us. I also bought this lovely shirt from Zara, what do you think of it? How would you wear it? It can be tucked in and worn on high-waisted pants or a skirt.
