It's been over 6 months since I took the plunge in holy matrimony:)
To to be precise, it was the 10th day of December 2009, and now that I look back it seems like it was just yesterday I was running around looking for that perfect outfit for my big day. In fact I had started preparing as soon as my beau and I made our intentions of tying the knot public and had this big chat with our respective parents. This was back in January 2009- so the whole year was spent looking around, going to every designer possible in both Delhi and Bombay and endless hours dedicated to researching-- and all this just over the weekends as I was working till 3 weeks before my wedding. I guess I was lucky cos I know of friends who worked till a week before theirs:)
Anyway, I finally got the lehenga I had dreamt of at this designer's boutique in Juhu called Shamayel Khan. It is a green and maroon ensemble. It took me some 4 visits in a span of one month to finally zero in on it but it was what I wanted and therefore, it took time like all good things do:)

While my reception sari was from Ensemble in Emporio, Delhi. It was this lovely tomato red net sari with zardosi work on it. I fell in love with it the moment I lay my eyes on it. I loved the retro look which Ambika Pillai gave me--it was just perfect for the outfit.
Other outfits in my wedding trousseau were from Anita Dongre, Nidhi and Pankaj Ahuja and a lot of stuff from Satya Paul. Hope you guys like the outfits and my hopefully, hard work paid off!!
